The term Indianhead county has become somewhat out of vogue over the last 50 years because it may be considered politically incorrect.  We believe the opposite.  It reminds us of the heritage of the native peoples on Wisconsin.

Complimentarily,  the area in Northern Minnesota between Duluth, the Canadian Border and eastward to the shore of Lake Superior is known as "The ArrowHead" because of its shape

The Arrow Head is comprised of the north eastern counties of Minnesota.
